After yum cha at Red Emperor at Southbank, Shaun & I wandered - slightly drunk - around the city. We sat down for a bit in Bourke St Mall, opposite Royal Arcade.

I took this as we were on our way to the stupidmarket. Only afterwards did I realise that someone had graffitied 'Herpes' on the window.

Gold.

Shaun & I had Date Day. We ate at our fave Vietnamese restaurant on Swanston St, then to watch Terminator: Salvation, before having dinner at Waterfront. I had the blue eye fillet, with roast pumpkin, grilled scampi (pictured) & a rocket & asparagus salad.

10th May, 2009

2009 is the 70th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz & to celebrate, twenty designers took up the challenge to create their interpretation of Dorothy's shoes.

Myer Bourke Street is currently hosting the "Ruby Red Slippers Collection". As I'm still on the hunt for a pair of sparkly red glitter flats (no thanks to you, Asos.com) this was HEAVEN.

I fell in love with Betsey Johnson's design (above), although Jimmy Choo's was a close second.

The exhibition is on until 24 May.

It's our 3 year anniversary today (yay!). We treated ourselves to a delicious meal at Paris Go in Carlton.

Unfortunately I felt too exposed to take any photos of our meals, so this bill poster in a nearby alley is today's offering.

Driving home from the shops on a lovely Melbourne day (apart from the gusty breeze).
